2024 GHE SOAR-A-THON

WHAT IS SOAR-A-THON?

SOAR-a-thon is a fundraiser that promotes growth, inclusivity and community. From October 13 -25, all students will work with their classrooms to complete an act of kindness either for the school or the community. Students ask family and friends for donations based on completion of this activity. At the end of the two-week period, students will celebrate their accomplishments with a fun run.

WE'RE FUNDRAISING FOR GREEN HOPE ELEMENTARY!

GHE PTA funds programs and services that are vital to our children's experience at GHE. SOAR-a-thon is our biggest annual fundraiser, and your donations go directly to fund educational programming, classroom resources, and enrichment opportunities NOT covered by the school's budget. SOAR-a-thon donations fund Family STEAM Night, classroom resources, academic enrichment grants, Spelling Bee, Falcon Book Battle, Field Day, school musicals, teacher professional development, Falcon's Nest and more!

This year SOAR-a-thon will also help fund improvements for our Grades 3-5 playground including new equipment. 

HOW TO DONATE

All donations must be made from a GHE student’s personal fundraising page.

• Parents and guardians: Personalize your child’s fundraising page and share with friends & family using the links on your child's personalized page.
• Friends and extended family: Ask parents/guardians to send you a link to their child's fundraising page.

All students take part in SOAR-a-thon classroom activities & the fun run regardless of financial participation. We understand if your family is not in a position to financially support the school right now.
